JB Hi-Fi is one of AUNZ’s largest tech retailers, operating in a fast-paced, promotion-led environment with multiple brands and offers live at any one time.

I designed, published and maintained website and email campaign content using Shopify, Contentful, Klaviyo, Figma and Photoshop.

Every asset required approval from internal teams including Planning, Legal and Commercial, as well as external brand partners such as Apple, Dyson and Samsung. This role required balancing strict supplier guidelines with JB Hi-Fi’s bold branding while meeting tight deadlines.

Working across multiple concurrent campaigns, I developed strong stakeholder management skills and learned to design offer-based content that was easily scannable, understandable and legally compliant.

I considered customer mental load when designing promotional assets, ensuring key information was clear and prioritised despite complex pricing or bundle offers.

In a small team based in New Zealand, I was able to learn and work across multiple digital touchpoints, supporting the wider brand to get campaigns over the line.

I regularly QA tested live website content and cart promotions to ensure accuracy, functionality and a seamless customer experience across devices.

During JB Hi-Fi NZ’s replatform to Shopify, I worked closely with UX and digital teams to adapt my workflow and migrate templates from Adobe to Figma.

I assisted in building new Figma brand libraries during peak sales periods, improving efficiency and enabling faster asset creation across the wider team.

Using Klaviyo, I built targeted email campaigns, curated audience segments and reported on weekly email performance to support ongoing optimisation.
